Is this an accredited office?

Yes, Independent Psychiatric Services is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC).

How do I schedule an appointment?

To schedule an appointment, call our office at (301) 856-8516 to speak with a member of our office staff.

Do you see patients on weekends?

We do not see patients on weekends. If you are having a medical emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. You can also go to our resources page for more ways to find help.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept the following:

Cash or Self-pay Carefirst BlueCross/BlueShield,

Cigna healthcare Optum Health

Carelon Behavior Health Maryland Medicaid.

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a 24-hour notice to cancel previously scheduled appointments. Failure to do so will cause you to incur a no-show/late cancellation fee of $100.
